We’re excited to highlight industry recognition for safety leadership in wind energy.
Our partner, Puget Sound Energy’s Ryan Severe, was honored with the National Safety Council’s Green Cross for Safety Innovation Award for his pioneering approach to turbine safety using SYTIS’ TC-90™ system. By placing compact thermal cameras inside wind turbine electrical enclosures, PSE can now see developing electrical issues in real time and diagnose them from a safe distance — cutting unnecessary climbs and reducing exposure to energized equipment.
Severe’s work not only tackles long-standing maintenance challenges such as overheating and arc-flash risks but also helps shift wind operations toward intelligent, condition-based safety practices.
